Dear NELA Members in Connecticut:
As you are aware, Governors Bill 1007 Sec. 24 NEW KK has been submitted to the Finance, Bonding, and Revenue Committee for consideration. This section of the bill will impose a sales tax on livery services.

Next Step: It's up to you to make a difference. In order for this to be effective you need to call you legislator!
Legislators in each of your counties need to hear your opposition regardless if they are on the committee. They need to understand who is being affected here; drivers, office staff, etc.. working families in small business. When legislators start to understand the personal side of how this impacts their voters, they begin to count the votes. Your industry employs thousands of people, who have families and relatives who will be affected if this passes, all voters.
